"Shootin' stuff and getting to a boss."
Graphically lively 2D-shooter with a rotating turret on your ship, and some stages that scroll horizontally as well as vertically. These are interesting twists (pun intended), but controlling the turret, even when mapped to the shoulder buttons, isn't quite as easy as it should be (oh, for dual analog!), and tends to be too distracting to manage properly in the thick of things. The bosses have some very complicated patterns, but also some slightly cheap ones where they hit you with near-instant shots. Not a bad shooter by any means, but also not one of the better ones. |
