A gorgeous tate vshmup with the kind of quirky mechanics that you'd almost expect from Treasure--the color-switching/bullet-absorbing thing certainly makes for unique gameplay.

I guess I'm not 1ee7 enough yet but I tend to prefer just to shoot things and not worry about chains (well, after the first level or so) and when you do you find that this game isn't really high up there in the twitch factor, it's bigger on memorizing obstacle and combo sequences. Which is all well and good and a nice change of pace but it's not going to win out over the other DC tate vshmup, Gunbird 2, which lets me blow up whatever the hell I want and rewards me for it.

I want to get better at using the energy release thingy because I've just realized that you can do some pretty smooth stuff with that without charging it all the way up (I hadn't been using it unless it was fully charged).
