| | | A remake of the NES's "Kirby's Adventure," I gather, though I never played that one. I like Kirby and he's pretty charming here, and some of the abilities he can get after swallowing enemies are pretty cool, but it also seems to go by pretty quickly--many of the early stages, at least, are virtually empty, and you hop right through and get to the exit and wonder where the level was. Unlike, say, the Kirby GB games, which have rather involved puzzles and item collecting challenges.
Oh, they threw in some mini-games here but for the most part they're pretty lame--the samurai quick-draw one if kind of cute but not the kind of thing you'll want to play for more than a minute or two at a stretch. |
