Paddle and ball game with a lot of innovations. There are several modes, the differences of which I haven't all figured out, but there's definitely a two player mode. Screens are in high-res and look very nice. Not only do you bounce the ball up and break blocks and powerups as in most games of this type, with precise timing you can also apply special hook-shot English on the ball, send it bouncing "over" the lower blocks, or give it a block-piercing charge that rips it through multiple blocks at once.

The paddle control is very responsive, not too fast, not too slow. The first few stages in regular "Attack" mode are quite easy but they quickly become very challenging as you make your way through the extensive, branching stage tree.

Ooh, I encountered a freaky bug, too. I got a "bounce over" hit, normally this causes the ball sprite to scale up a bit as it arcs upward, then back to normal as it "lands" in the upper rows of blocks. This time though the ball kept getting bigger, and bigger and started getting really flickery out and flashing into a big white square. Then it disappeared entirely but I could still hear it bouncing around. The invisible ball quickly escaped and on the next ball everything was back to normal. Woo.
