|Some of the most impressive graphics and sound ever experienced on the PS2, combined with top-notch (aside from the lip synching, which appears to still move according to the original Japanese voices) voice acting and dialogue, makes for one darn compelling RPG.|
Good thing too because it seems save points only come along every forty minutes or so. Game-engine cinematics take up a lot of that time and they aren't exactly hard to watch (except for the playdough hips of male characters--weird).
The combat system hasn't exactly blown me away yet but we'll see, I still haven't quite got this "boost" concept yet where you save action points for one character to aid another in the next round, or something. Very promising so far. Wait a sec, I still have to go finish Xenogears.
