| | | Whoa, I hadn't realized that this had an arcade incarnation (and I still gotta get around to diving in to the PS1 version...). Has a cool "Survival" vs mode (in addition to a "Race" mode like the one in Drill Land (entry 175) only 2-player rather than four) where the object is simply to survive the nasty tricks your foe plays on you when they collect specific powerup blocks.
Also funny in that for your quarter you can pick a descent of 500, 1000, or 2000 meters I think, but it's Game Over once you get to the bottom of whichever one you picked--AFTER you sit through a ending cinematic/credit sequence that lasts several minutes. Curious. |
