|Action puzzle game, sequel to the PS1 "Devil Dice" or whatever it was. I've only played Vs, and that briefly, but the gist seems to be that you win points by rolling dice over one at a time with your little devil until they form up into groups with matching sides up, like three threes or six sixes (how devilish!). Then these explode and can create chain reactions with lower numbered die nearby.|
Rolling dice around until the right face comes up, and in the square that you want it in, isn't intuitive for my little noggin, and when I say that I did best when I just ran around on the dice randomly, you can guess that I got creamed. So there is skill involved and, having none, I didn't like it much.
My favorite part was after my opponent got tired of trouncing me and I was just messing around on the main menu screen--when you move the menu selection quickly, the little cel-shaded devil babies trundling around after the selection get dizzy and fall over, so you can make a game of getting them to fall over quickly. Actually they *should* make that in to a game, it's more my thing than die-matching.
