|Fine top-down dual-analog shooter with co-op mode for two-player fun. You burn your way through level after level of alien-infested space-stations, rescuing humans the aliens have gooed up in little pod things before time runs out on the time bomb you planted at the beginning of the stage (nice scorched-earth tactic there). Some of the aliens even look like the aliens from Aliens, howsabout that? Big impressive boss fight after each stage, too.|
Uses RenderWare but the graphics are actually quite good for a Sega Ages release, and the music is a minimalist but fitting sci-fi grunge type of thing.
The game is nice about auto-saving and storing top scores, combo shots, etc. The weapons you find scattered around pack a nice punch, and once you've got a hearty weapon and a couple options going, you are an impressive 360-degree alien-killing machine.
