| | | Super compilation of Mario greats: SMB 1, 2, 3, and the "Lost Levels," the Japanese-only extension of SMB 1. These are great games and it's awesome to have them on one cart, with save support. I only wish they hadn't tarted up the graphics and sound: I've only played SMB 3 here so far, and while the parallax backgrounds are mostly okay, the redrawn character portraits stink, and the dark blue transparent overlay in the water levels makes it really hard to see the action. At least they didn't add voices. :p |
