I think this is more or less a port of the PCE version--it looks pretty PCE-ish, anyway, with a relatively simple color palette and simplistic animation. The characters don't have many special moves, and I don't think there are supers; the fighting system is pretty much as basic as anything post-SFII gets.

Oh, yeah: this is a chick fighter. Nine spunky high-school girls duke it out for your perverted pleasure. Not that they get naked or anything like that, thank goodness. But do the girls lounging around in the background in their short school uniforms really have to bend over like that?

Story mode sends you through a series of matches as the main character. There doesn't appear to be anything really to the story, aside from personality clashes, and some kind of fighting tournament. But hey, schoolgirls! Rroww! The anime-style slideshow cutscenes have pretty good production values, at least, with lots of overly cute voice acting. You can't skip them, so if you don't think you can stand sitting through talking schoolgirl heads for minutes at a time between fights, stick to Normal mode.

It's cute to play through Story mode once, but with only one playable character there, and only nine total, with limited moves and choppy animation, this one probably won't keep your interest for too long.

"V.G.," by the way, stands for "Variable Geo," apparently. I have no idea what that means.
