posted by sweater fish deluxe (userid: 69.12.Lqklhk) on september 29, 2008 at 17:06:49 est in reply to i'm temporarily living way out of the amsterdam center. it's a long bike ride through a kind of man-made semi-wild park. one stretch is inhabitated by lots of rabbits, scottish highlander cows, and... gay cruisers! it's really quite funny. every single time i've rode through, also early foggy morning, i've seen single bikes parked by the road, and then a guy standing thirty meters into the park, waiting around and trying to look casual. after dark there's quite a few. i just googled it and apparently it's very well-known, and it was more popular before the city set out these highlanders. the world remains a fascinating place. i actually got cruised whilst hanging out in just such a park once. i was sort of flattered at first, but he kept on pressing me for like 10 minutes. i noticed he was wearing a wedding ring and suggested that we could go have a threesome with his wife, but just about that time some park ranger fellow came along and told us the park was closing, so i never got an answer from him. i would have done it, i think.
