posted by exodus (userid: 198.71.P4IoYA) on june 11, 2010 at 16:42:17 est in reply to what i mean by "attitude and personality" may be a lot more complex than the way you're interpretting it. i think it includes somereally vague and undefinable things about a person that we apprehend more intuitively or even subconsciously. and for sure, sometimes that intuitive sense that you have of a person can be quite different than the rational sense you have of who they are, leading you to not get why you would like (or not like) them. though personally, if i think about it, i can always see what it is about them that i'm sensing. but then i'm a person who gives a lot of creedence to the decisions of the intuitive part of my brain. i agree that it may be interpretive within our own brains - how we choose to perceive information and our interactions with others. but i think there's something beyond how a person comports themselves and what they do that makes them innately interesting or repellent even if you don't actually think anything in particular about them. i'll explain more later! this is like my exp. preview of a future conversation.
