The World Ends With You is pretty damn cool. I rented it from Blockbuster and I might just end up paying for it and keeping it (I was the first to rent it, so it's essentially "NEW"). I really like the style of it!

I only wanted to get it through GameFly because paid subscribers generally get the option to Keep It before the title is available for actual sale. It's discounted, and on top of that I get 10% off and have a $5 credit I can use toward the game. All told, I can get the game for about $22, much better than the $40 and tax it is new.

Good deal. I think this game has "cult classic" written all over it. I'm rather enjoying it, despite the whole "emo" vibe. I'm still having trouble getting a grasp on combat, though! It's kind of tough for my old brain!

Yeah, kind of annoyingly so. But it's OK. The game is very interesting to play!

yeah he's all "whatever. don't talk to me. why doesn't everyone just go away?" he's the embodiment of the concept of hikikomori. the characters that revolve around him are similarly annoying stereotypes. It's just not a mature narrative, and the battle system is pretty tough to get used to, since you have to do different things on both screens.
