You can buy a PSP-3000 with a 16GB memory stick for about $50 less new, which does everything and allows you to use UMDs, which means you can get games really cheap and stuff. I can tell it's supposed to compete with the iPod touch or something, but... (n/t) from aerisdead.
I think making something to compete with the Touch would be a great thing for them to do, this certainly isn't it though.
