(@CodeMystics) tweeted at 5:55 PM on Thu, May 26, 2016: @omrunl there's interframe blending to get rid of the flickering shadow. Flickers are not allowed in modern games for e.g. photosensitivity." They added later that "if allowed" they would add an option to disable it. Also I hear the Vita version got patched already, not sure what for exactly. from Paleface.

Interesting. The Wii ports have flickering taken out too, which is my only problem with them, but I don't know if it was done in this way. I think with Metal Slug 3 they just turned if off the same way the Neo allows (on later games) and broke off the knob.
