It looks legit. Sega is like an insecure teenager who keeps searching for their fans' approval, while Nintendo is a teenage rebel, doing whatever they like and saying fuck it to whatever their fans ask for. I actually like how it looks a lot, and the down dash is a mechanic that is actually going to be useful in keeping up speed and getting over some of the more awkward bits of those earlier maps. I like sonic, but am not mad at anyone who doesn't!
