| | More of the same carjacking, public rampage action as GTA3 except in a Miami-like city in the 80's. The graphics are more refined, the story more involving, the city more elaborate, the radio stations and ambient conversations more abundant. You can drive motorcycles and scooters, which is fun, and of course this being a Miami-Vice-like setting, every other car on the street is an Italian sports car, so you can enjoy some pretty sporty cars right from the get-go. Your character is more fleshed out, even shooting sarcastic replies to remarks from bystanders, and has a more direct role in the plot itself rather than just being the mafia's thug as you were in GTA3. You're still a thug, of course, but this time you've got your own score to settle. If you liked the first you'll like this one, if you were offended by the first you'll be offended by this one. |
