| | Brilliant Breakout-inspired action puzzler in which you bounce perky Kirby around the screen to break all the blocks. This goes far beyond the simple hit-up play of Breakout, however: particularly in the later stages you may have paddles along the walls and ceiling as well as the floor, and you engage a little boost to Kirby by timing the A button just when he bounces off the paddle.
The great little sound and graphic touches from the other great Kirby GB games are here in abundance and with many block-ball worlds to explore, bosses (yes bosses) to battle, and block puzzles to destroy, this little cartridge really delivers the goods, Kirby-style. Simply smashing. |
