Playing through Arcade Archives Darius II on PS4 at default Normal difficulty!
I went back and checked later and yeah, 374360 points in Hi Score Mode got me to rank 247, woo. ^ _^
The first two stages seem extra easy on 3 screens at Normal difficulty but man it gets hard later, I should'a stuck to Easy difficulty. ; DD
This three-screen version came out a year and a half after M2's two-screen version in Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade.
And yep it's Darius (1) that has the three ROM revisions.

| | | | Oh well I also put that animated .gif in here because I forgot I was gonna not put big gifs on here, to save server space. But it's not really that big I guess heck the combo screenshot is almost twice as big. I'm just a sucker for these ultra widescreens man. |
