| | | | An interactive samurai movie beat-'em-up with a cute ninja sidekick. At least, that's what the first one is like, and this one looks baked in the same mold, with perhaps even higher production values. Simple action combined with lush graphics ain't that bad a combination, necessarily. I like the 2d backdrops: they're gorgeous, for starters, and they allow a level of detail that you'd be hard-pressed to match in 3d. Capcom's also used some very slick effects to make them come alive, like splashing rain and curling smoke. Looking forward to playing this once I actually finish the first one. |
