| | | Collection with a couple new uh wads or whatever, orchestral-ish music remix, and nice UI options like being able to turn off flashing FX. Played pretty well on the DualSense.
Wasn't really feeling it though; it's dressed as a fantasy but it's still basically gun shooting and that isn't my thing these days. The pacing of the first stage felt plodding--those flashing FX might have been doing a lot of the heavy lifting here, really--and the navigation felt like it was probably going to be heavily reliant on scrutinizing the live map thing to find what you missed--like Doom.
Anyway, mostly the gun thing. Oh and the sprite gore, which is mostly just silly looking but again, not my thing. |
