I gather that this is a port of a SNES game with the addition of a third playable character, Becky (who looks like Pocky). It's actually an isometric shooter where run you around through cute little Japanese yards and gardens, hurling flaming cards at swarms of weird monsters, or swishing them off the screen at close range with your paper fan. Kind of odd, gameplay-wise, particularly since you can only shoot in the exact direction in which you are moving.

The stages, at least the beginning ones, aren't long and I have a feeling that the game is short. But then again it's a shooter, and a rather difficult one at that. Slowdown can be a killer, too, which isn't fun. The bosses are kind of interesting, however: big screen-wandering monstrosities with massive energy attacks.

So as a quirky shooter it provides some interest but also fails in the basics: there's no save game, so you can't save your progress or score except via password (argh), and even if you could save score there wouldn't be much point because there are many spots where you can just stand still and shoot and the respawning enemies will keep flying right into your shots, giving you score for as long as you have the patience to mash the button. Hm.

Unusual but not exactly great.
