Fun if relatively easy vertical shooter from Alfa System (of more recent Shikigami no Shiro fame -- see entry 249). Supports two-player simultaneous, which is nice, and you can even choose between four different pilots.

They make the most of the two-player aspect, in fact, with the bombs: the players share a single bomb stock, and when firing a bomb (and these fire themselves if one player is low on health) they merge in to a single large beasty thing, which varies by character, and one rampages around the screen while the other shoots. Rather fun.

Graphics and sound acquit themselves admirably, particularly the music. Game balance might have been better: some pilots seem overall much more powerful than others, and many of the bosses go down with hardly a fight. Characters can take multiple hits off their life meter before dying, somthing that I'm usually not partial to but which is relatively inoffensive here.

Not really a classic shmup in any particular way but fun enough as these things go, especially when played two-player.
