"Red Alert and Final Zone II, similar 4-way shooters."
Looks a lot like "Final Zone II" (see entry 589), both of which were published by Telenet. Has similar crappy cinematics and everything.
Red Alert came out first and actually plays better, since you can shoot while moving (now there's a concept) and even lock the shoot direction by holding down the fire button. Oh, and you can pick up quite a few subweapons like missiles, grenades, spinning blades, etc. Oh, and you have little mission type things, like having to plant explosives all over the enemy base. A decent game, actually. |
