"Dangun Feveron has sparse but fast bullets, like the older Raiden."

Quite unlike the other Cave shooters I've seen. Dangun Feveron harkens back to the days of, say, Raiden (see entry 218), where the enemies didn't fill the whole screen with bullets, but just did things efficiently by shooting directly at you with a few really fast bullets. Ouch! So this game reqiures more memorization and replay than Cave's other shooters, at least in that respect, and I can't say as I think that's necessarily a good thing.

While it harkens back in terms of gameplay, however, the wacky disco theme is pure outrageousness. An enthusiastic announcer chants encouragement from time to time as the techno disco music plays and you rescue imprisoned disco dancers from bubbles, or something like that anyway.
