When only half the members can figure it out it could use some improvement. I’m sick of looking up how to do it and and making multiple failed posts every time so I just don’t post any videos anymore. I only try it about once a year or two so I forget how every time. Also the exact way to do it changes. If that’s your idea of success than I guess we should never change it.

I don’t know where the 15 year number came from but the way videos are posted here has changed at one time or another and it isn’t written down anywhere. I don’t know why you’d make fun of someone for not knowing what is, essentially, a secret. Obviously you just explained it to me so right now I get it but I MEAN in six years when I want to post a video I’m seriously not going to remember how unless I just started posting tons of videos to keep it fresh in my mind and nobody wants that, least of all me. It’s a lot of work and I’m very subject to rabbit holes. I MEAN, I’d have five videos today about how annoying it is to start a sentence with “I mean” when you haven’t said anything yet, reiterating nothing. I mean, who wants the forum plugged up with that shit? Isn’t this bad enough?
Fuck it. I’ll tattoo it on my arm but when I have to update it in 2042 I’ll expect you fucks to kick in some $ to get it corrected.

maybe I never learned the other way? This is the only way I remember it being, except when you had to hardcode it with html. not making fun of you! I genuinely don't remember it changing since it was implemented this way over a decade ago. maybe paleface can confirm! I think if we're still coming here in 6 years we'll be lucky enough to still have that that any problems are forgivable.

I think it was always required pasting in Youtube emb3d code; I had to update the scr1pt at one point when the emb3d code changed (because normally the scr1pt prohibits emb3ds and the like). But it's been a while so I may be forgetting something.
