they had hundreds for like a hundred yen each at recofan. as a general rule I don't buy singles but I was certainly tempted this time.

The only reason to buy singles is for the b-side. Unfortunately, with CDs they put the label over the b-side, so you have to scratch it off with a butter knife if you want to listen to it.

I had a heck of an experience recently when I was walking around my neighborhood and heard a sawing sound, like sawing through wood with a hand saw, and I was like "who's sawing something" and looked around to see an old woman on her porch just grinding away at her foot with a cheese grater to get off excess skin. Lordy.
I get that folks have to do that sort of thing sometimes but imagining the mechanics of it and the idea of getting to your actual foot meat with it just really made me shudder. Plus hearing the SOUND first, so loudly.
