Super late, but if you're still looking and haven't tried it, highly recommend Super Champon by Otoboke Beaver. It's four years old at this point, but I'd still call that new and young people. And they're Japanese so I assume you will understand more of the lyrics than I do, though enough of them are English that, along with the tone of the record, I am confident it fits your criteria.
