Just got a Switch Lite. Amazon seems to have fulfilled my order with a Japanese system. Is that going to cause me any issues accessing US e-shop stuff? I feel like that topic may have come up here sometime in the last several years. I'm under the impression physical games are always region free, though. What a weird ass marketplace Amazon is.

This happens with Amazon. It’s been happening for many years. I get Euro versions of stuff occasionally. It’s mostly harmless but can be a pain in the ass. Returning stuff to Amazon sucks too. They can deliver to my house twice a day but they can’t come get broken shit they sold me.

I bought a Switch Lite (turquoise) from a eBay seller this week and…it’s also Japanese, no mention of this in the auction. I was thinking about how my kid plays the Switch so much these days I need my own since I have this Super Robot Wars game here that’s only half finished…it turned out to be a good idea because in fact I actually have TWO half finished Super Robot Wars games here and I’m just to busy to even remember.
