| | Trying out the free sorta Souls-ish tower climbing game Mizeria: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2527360/Mizeria/ I did not get far at all because I'm a quitter, okay? ^ _^ But if you're into really challenging 3D platforming with a cool medieval dungeon adventure vibe, you may dig this! The demo says it doesn't support controllers, Steam had me on the default Steam input WASD mouse layout which was a decent start, then I mapped roll to L1 and slide to L2 on my DS4. Not SO keen on the slide-then-jump for long jumping but it works I guess. ; ) Oh yeah I uploaded my layout to Steam. Is tower climbing a sub-genre now? I mean there's a Roblox server called "tower of hell" that has something sort of like this, from the sound of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqZ-4-mDFuk And oh well there's a Steam game called TowerClimb, which is more of a roguelike approach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qri4kJEs8Yo Anyway Mizeria is mildly Souls-ish, and free! |

| | Mizeria author CloudlessStudio has a playlist of PSX-style "demakes" of FromSoftware and other games https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNviACcIjskvCaS3f2fQw9hawVoPXco2a , but these seem to have been delisted from their itch https://cloudlessstudio.itch.io/ --where there is still what looks like a slightly earlier version of Mizeria called Aetherbow: https://cloudlessstudio.itch.io/aetherbow-teaser-demo |

| | The developer's YouTube channel (and cloudlessstudio.net website, at least the TX part) says they are "from Poland, currently in Texas." |
