Very slick rapid-fire co-op light-gun game. You don't have grenades or different weapons or anything, just your trusty machinegun that never runs out of ammo. It seems like you're supposed to be mounted on a helicopter gunship or something as the camera swoops and dives all over the place as robotic, laser-toting assailants swirl across the screen. The camera work is really smooth and makes the game feel very dynamic--you can never quite tell where your elusive attackers are going to pop up, but it never feels completely arbitrary or cheap.

The enemies shoot a lot of shots your way, fortunately you can counter the shots by shooting them (how apropos!), and you can take three hits before your credit is done. The elaborate bosses have really indecent amounts of health but at least you feel good once you finally put them down.

The guns are sort of enlarged Uzi-style things, mounted on a center platform. They vibrate a lot when you hold the trigger down and at first I was afraid that prolonged use would numb my hand, but this did not turn out to be the case--and we played for a long time.
