| Very unusual shooter from Treasure, with some amazingly well-designed graphics. I'm writing this from a rather distant memory, so I don't recall exact details about the controls, but I seem to recall that while they were novel, using various aspects of that wacky N64 controller to allow you to move and shoot independently, they felt a lot more intuitive than the controls in many of Treasure's games, and shooting the hordes of creative enemies sent at you was very rewarding. Epic episodes and boss battles abound--I'm remembering in particular a battle with a huge demon thing in a miasmic hell, and battling while cruising through the air on a floating platform above a hostile battleship. Really top-rate stuff. |
