I've only played a little dueling match in this, but the full version seems pretty much the same as the demo, at least in that arena mode. Does 1080p, but framerates are kind of shaky throughout, which tends to detract from the sense of speed and mayhem.

You drive around more or less unintentionally goofy-looking cars in a sort of slight-future setting, and blow buildings or the other cars up with various weapons. Apparently everything except machine guns and smokescreen are locked at the beginning, bleh.

The race course I played in the demo version, and the arena course I played in both the demo and the retail, both featured unimaginative blocky construction and lots of stuff to break; the emphasis definitely seems to have been put on breakability over drivability, if that's anything like a word.

It's a pain to drive and aim at the same time, and you pretty much have to do that constantly in arena mode. In race mode at least you don't have to go out of your way to shoot things. Oh, there's like a time-reversal thing you can use to erase crashes and redo that bit where you crashed; I'm not really sure what makes that "cool" exactly, other than seeing stuff go backwards briefly as you rewind (but I'm not sure you can even pause and pan around hm).
