| | | This compact adapter by Pelican will connect your PS1/2 controllers to the PS3 via the PS3's USB slots. It has a fully functional "PS" button, so you can access the PS3's system menus, remap the controller, and all that. It also has a special switch setting for Guitar Hero 2, but I haven't used that.
Actually, I've only used it with the "tatakon" (sp? :p) drum controller used for the Taiko no Tatsujin games, like Taiko no Tatsujin Doka! (see entry 1140). And for those it works well, except that you can only move left in the game's left/right menus. Weird, 'cause you can drum just fine with both left and right sides. Fortunately, all those menus loop, or can be reset easily to the far right side, so they're fully playable, if slightly less convenient than usual. |
