| | | A girly 2D fighting game, very similar, at least on the surface, to another recent PS2 port, "Melty Blood" (see entry 1138). Both feature anime-like, undersized, cutesy character sprites, very bland backgrounds, screen-high colorful special move effects, and rather spastic back-and-forth action. The appeal I guess is supposed to rest in the bubbly presentation of the various heroines, but if that doesn't impress you, you'd have no business whatsoever playing this instead of something rather better developed in the 2D fighting genre. |
