Thinking about it after this recording, I love the crispness of Worms Armageddon, but the game's concept of a difficulty curve seems to amount to piling more worms onto its samey choppy landscapes until it's just a big pink mess; that's all right once in a while maybe but I'm already missing the superior tactical options of Worms W.M.D, not to mention its lush beauty.

Worms Armageddon launched in 1999, and in 2013 for Steam, and received an update as recently as 2020. It is 85% off ($2.24) through July 7th on Steam; GOG has it, not on sale currently, but without, presumably, needing to be logged in to Steam--but the Steam version does have automatic updating and such, it says.

Quick Match, even if it did ever adjust according to results (not sure : P), seems to be stuck at 4 on 4 (CPU level 5), and it's always a generic player team vs the Royalty CPU team.

Enjoying my quick little 2-v-3 Create-a-Matches.

At first I thought the size of the matches to which the sequence of Deathwatches has ballooned was just gonna be a huge mess, but actually your weapons of mass destruction are pretty limited, so it does end up being pretty strategic.

For now I'll probably follow the Deathmatch sequence and see how that goes.
