I seem to recall this demo coming out--or maybe more likely being re-released--for a limited time in connection a Kickstarter or something of a circa 20-teens-ish crowdfunded remake of Pro Pinball: Timeshock; and that I had to jump through some hoop that made me feel clever to download the demo without paying to be part of the crowdfunding. : P

As far as I remember from the PS1 versions (see entry 207), Big Race ended up being my relative favorite of the three Pro Pinball tables due to the variety of shots available.

The demo is currently available for download from CNET--that was the first Google hit--but the installer looks Win 95-era--which supports the theory of it having been a re-release!--and Windows 11 refuses to run the installed .exes, although one gets far enough to display a "CD-ROM" error. ; )

All three games are currently available in some form from GOG for money.

The Timeshock remake made something of a splash at the time, at least in the digital pinball world, for having fancy-looking simulated ray-traced lighting or something; I think at the time I figured it was just ridiculously detailed animating bitmapped shadows.

Steam reviews of that remake say it's slower than the original (not sure if that means PC or PS1--probably PC), and the video I watched appeared to bear that out. Timeshock isn't a table I seemed to gel with on PS1.
