| Modern Genesis game, this Steam version uses some kind of emulator that works well enough. Keeps interrupting action with talking and puzzle-ish elements. Action itself doesn't have flash FX that I saw, yay, but does screen-shake with just about every hit, and also manages to feel both overdone--as with the "cinematic" presentation interruptions and sprite animation frames that feel put there just for the sake of showing off how many animation frames they can have, rather than furthering action--and too sparse. |
