| PocketStation-related game by the team who did the "Robbit" games, where you pilot your little Robbit around some islands in the sky to find PocketStation games. You can play the games on a PocketStation (I don't have one) or via the excellent emulator in the PlayStation game that even simulates the effects of LCD "motion" blur. Playing the PocketStation games earns you money to "buy" more games, supposedly there are just over 100 available. Also supposedly you can use the money to purchase little buildings and enhancements for one of the little sky islands. You tell the game your current daytime and it matches it in-game, so if you're playing at 1:00 AM like me everything is dark and most of the MuuMuus are asleep, so you can't do a few of the more extraneous activities. I've only tried a few of the PocketStation games, and they weren't that fascinating, but there's a lot of potential here--it'd make it easier to get into if they gave you a really good game or two up front. If you have and enjoy an actual PocketStation, of course, then this game is pretty much your jackpot. |
