|Quite an improvement over the first, thank goodness. Actually looks rather good and the small walled stages and shattering armor remind me of Fighting Vipers, and I mean that in a good way, darn it.|
Runs smoothly for the most part and gosh, you can actually control what your robot is doing, how about that. The robots still look like junkyard rejects and jump attacks still suck, but not to the epic extent of the first game. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a great game, mind you, and although I like the simplicity of the three-button punch/kick/guard Virtua Fighter style control scheme, actual strategy in a match seems rather limited. Then again, I also kind of suck at the game.
Has a good Watch mode, always a plus, and nice sounds and music.
