Cool platformer in which you have three characters with you at any one time and switch between them with the Select button. Sort of similar to some of those Goemon games in that regard, I suppose, only here the other two trail along behind the leader and shoot the same bullets that he/she does. It also has a very cool, relaxed vibe to it: your gang drives around to cute little park-like cities in their little bus, playing through a lively but not-too-tough (maybe they get tougher later, I dunno) little side-scrolling level at each intersection, then visiting the home of whoever it is that lives there for a nice (Japanese) chat. At the end of the city you face an impressively large boss, then its onward to the next city. Going through the city involves a little strategy as you sometimes have to find secondary exits in a level in order to drive down certain streets in the city map, and you have to track down a specific key in one of the locations to unlock the boss area.

Blue Blink, I guess, is the name of a donkey. A blue donkey, of course. And you ride him in the boss fights. Uh-huh.

The only thing that kind of bums me out a little is that it seems like a fairly long game but doesn't save your progress, so you'd better have a good long sitting scheduled to try finishing it. Ah well, maybe once I retire.

I forgot to mention that there are a lot of characters--you start off with three but quickly pick up more as you go along, and have different sets of them on different stages. Each, of course, has a particular skill, the most radical I've seen thus far being a little girl in pink who has no attack whatsoever, but can jump ever so far.
