| | An update of the old Midway arcade classic, in complete third-person "three dee" and all that, so it looks a lot like most other contemporary racing games. It looks pretty nice, I guess, and as a bonus your car has machineguns and oil slicks and so on. Oh, and the music is remixed versions of the original's memorable theme music.
I didn't get far at all in this game. You are forced to run the training course before getting into actual road combat. This sucks because you're just having to avoid cones and shoot paper targets and stuff, and there are all kinds of rules about what you are and aren't supposed to do as you go around the course. Well, I passed the "primary" objective shooting part, but failed the other, secondary and stupid parts, because I didn't care about them, and guess what? I would have had to run the training course again to earn more training points before I could start playing for real.
So then I quit. |
