This would be a better holiday than Christmas or even Kwanzaa since not only would the recipient benefit by getting something they might appreciate, but also the giver would benefit by getting rid of something. Plus, companies wouldn't profit and might even ultimately take a loss. The only thing is that I don't know who to send my proposal to. President Biden? The UN Security Council? The Pope?

it's a nice idea, but also sounds potentially like it'd turn into junk offloading. also I don't like holidays, but maybe this would turn me around. I'll try to consider my trips to Goodwill mini holidays and see how that works out. If I see the pope there I'll ask what he thinks.
