Gitaroo Man is such an amazing game. I remember playing it after a breakup, and feeling such a connection to The Legendary Theme. It made me feel nostalgic for something I hadn't really found yet. When I finally did find the woman who'd become my wife, I thought of that song as a representation of our relationship. At our wedding, we made our processional song The Legendary Theme (acoustic), and our recessional song was The Legendary Theme (electric).
As for what I'm playing recently, I started playing a bit of IIDX again after about a 10-year break and liked it, so I splurged on a copy of the final PS2 version: Empress. Lots of fun, and an interesting study in how rhythm game skill can erode over time. And I'm playing the Atelier Marie remake for Switch. I like how refreshingly simple it is compared to modern Atelier games, and that the goal of that game isn't to save the world... it's just to graduate.
