I suppose I'll try to go back and play more but I kept discovering more and more techniques and layers to the game which overwhelmed me with possibilities. Not in a bad way, just that the game is as deep as you want it to be which is really hard to design I think. I understand (finally) why people love the series so, but I think my threshold is now about 40 or so hours into a game of this depth before I start requiring a firm conclusion (and New Game + or optional post-game stuff). MH isn't designed with story in mind though this game seems to have light enough narrative to give you reason to open up new areas. from NeoGutsman.
I have a love hate relationship with MonHun. The complexity is its strongest and weakest point. I won't spoil everything for myself outright but I will occasionally check FAQS, something I rarely do. This wouldn't be a problem if I could really invest the time in it but right now that's difficult. Also, as a side, the fact that MonHun4 is basically unplayable without a *new* 3DS is bullshit. That second stick is really important.
