I guess it could be the connection inside the system needs cleaning, since my arcade card pro also has the same problem in this system. Hopefully that is easy to do by myself! but are you certain a duo R wouldn't need recapping? a friend had his start to go on the blink and his needed it. I forgot I have this supergrafx to potentially do as well! noted on the tg-16s though. (I am definitely doing my expresses, since they're both hosed). maybe I'll come back and check out PCEFX, we shall seeee (n/t) from exodus.
So do you have a JP system or a converter? If you have a converter...that's the problem. Some are worse than others but they all increase the chance of an AC not working. This was something my friends and I discovered with Mad Stalker back in the day. Its also really a problem with Sapphire but that's something I only ever heard about in the 90s since I knew no Americans with that game for like 15 years after its release.
