I've been meaning to do this for years, but this week we finally did it. We made a bunch of keychains out of NGPC cart PCBs. Pic inside.

This is.. Kind of morbid? How do you select which games to destroy? Only shitty stuff or are there prototypes available?

Yeah, I've heard this reaction a few times now. Actually the cartridges are chosen by price. The circuitboard's of been building up over the years, because I buy the cartridges and use the plastic shells. I have had the idea to reuse the circuit boards in this way for a few years now, but I finally got around to actually doing something about it.

Normally I would agree but there are a LOT of shifty pachi games nobody likes. Also, for (nearly) every one of these key chains made from a shitty game there is a flash cart running some homebrew or CF2 in English so it's totally good in the end.

True, and True! Both of your replies definitely prove that nothing of value is lost here. Still, personally it would still feel like carrying a keychain embryo.
