And yeah, I can only imagine that it's weird since the PS2 era, as flush with software as it was, made almost anything 2D look weird. That's why have so few of those ports. Then you port it to PS3 and...well, I have a Neo Geo MVS and everything looks perfect on. Is see there is a copy of 2000 on eBay for $25 right now. If the "experimentation" side of things isn't too important to you (Let's see how bad THIS port is!) then I highly recommend that route. My MVS cost a lot less than a PS4. (n/t) from SignOfZeta.
I still don't know what happened during the PS2 days, where a lot of 2D ports were displayed in 480i or 480p when the system had no problem displaying at a lower resolution. If only those Street Fighter Alpha and Samurai Shodown collections would've looked half as good as Kof 2000.
