I love the ngp, but can you honestly say that when you take away the nostalgia? Pretty much every game has a better version on a newer handheld. Best fighting game handheld, but even then.

The clicky stick is still the best, though.

What NGP games have better newer versions? Maybe Puzzle Bobble but...not Card Fighters, not KOF, not MotM, not portable anyway.

Oh man, Card Fighters DS, what a letdown. On a technical level the NGPC fighting games were surpassed as early as the GBA, but something like KoF EX2 still feels half-baked compared to the heart that was put into KoF R2 and the like. Something like SFA3 Max on the PSP puts all the fighting games on the NGPC to shame, but you could hardly call that an original creation. So that leaves us with Metal Slug XX on the PSP, which I'd gladly play over the NGPC ones.
