With all the madness (still) surrounding the NES Classic, why hasnt anyone released a NGPC Classic with 30 built in games yet? Get on this, marketing people!

All that debate over the NES Classic and it turns out nobody could buy one anyway, not for less than $250. Amazing. The whole wannabe pawn star thing must be even more popular than I thought if there are enough of the scum to buy up the entire Earth's supply of a thing Nintendo must have made a few million of by now.

Since release, my store has received 5 units, maybe 6. Its a miracle the retail price hasnt gone up, as europe only has a recommended retail price, with every store free to set a higher/lower one.

When the Amiibo craze was at its height various Saturn stores in Germany actually did just that. They probably would overcharge the Mini too, if only they could actually stock them.

Thats Just it, They are not. Whenever anyone gets them in stock, they are always 59.99. Of course im talking about the bigger names in retail, so it would make them look bad to raise the price. It still surprises me though.

My like one gaming friend went on a trip with his office crew to some major story in Seattle a month ago and they all bought one for retail price. He doesn't seem to want his. I told him to eBay that sucker but I don't think he has. : P I guess if I was smart I'd buy it from him and do it myself.

(Paleface isn't very smart though)

Thats nice, and the way it should be! Nintendo attracted A LOT of older people with this thing, reminding them how mych they loved Nintendo. Who knows, maybe a couple of those would have bought a Switch as well. Now i just get frustrated people in the store, angry that after 3 months they still dont have their little Nintendo. I understand their anger.

Now that hackers found an easy way to inject and remove ROMs I imagine its scarcity will reach even more absurd levels.

I don't think the neo geo x did super well, so they might not be super inclined!

I guess you could do something similar with the Game Pie Advance. NGPC isn't tops on there, but that's only because the emu hasn't been updated yet.

Meh. As a collector I'm more interested in the legit hardware/games than some emulator anyways. The NES Classic seems tailor made for retro wannabes.
